And there could have been some early reluctance to accept Caleb, as Justin Fields had the respect of many in the locker-room.

LOL.

And we finally get to the crux of the issue here: The Sh1t Backup P1ttsburgh QB!

Current coaching carousel predictions:

Bears: Ben Johnson. The Brady factor in Vegas is real, but ultimately Caleb sways Johnson’s decision.

Raiders: Pete Carroll. Brady will settle on a proven winner.

Cowboys: Deion Sanders. Jerry and Deion were made for each other. This is will be a giant soap opera all year. Good times ahead for football reporters.

Saints: Mike McCarthy (but maybe Kingsbury)

Jets: Aaron Glenn. The former Jet returns home to establish a better culture.

Jacksonville: Joe Brady. Good fit IMO.

I thought it was the "roster" that was going to be the deciding factor in favor of the Bear?

Focus Tempo. No one bitched about his work ethic except Kap. That video you posted never mentioned it.

Didn’t your guy Lombardi or whatever say that Caleb thought things “would be easier?”

That is also part of the equation. It can be both. The clincher is the QB.

How many stories has that doofus broken over the years?

Try harder Tempo. This is weak even for you

IDK. I’m a Parkins guy. I only listen to 1000 when 670 is talking baseball or basketball. And when they fired Goff and Spiegel. But after a few months I couldn’t take listening to 1000 anymore and finally tuned back into 670. Anytime I catch someone like Kap is in passing or maybe on the Twotter. One thing I hate about AM1000 is everyone sounds the same except for JHood.

No.

That’s what you told me. Am I mistaken? You sent me a text about it a few weeks ago.

Ok, who was it and what did he say exactly.

Look at the texts

I don’t want to scroll through a month’s worth of texts. Why don’t you just give us a short recap?

"Other big-name quarterbacks, such as Joe Burrow, have been voted as captains and taken on the starting position as a rookie."

"Last season, Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud — the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks in the 2023 draft — were both named captains of the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans, respectively, during their rookie seasons. Anthony Richardson, the No. 4 overall pick, was also named a captain as a rookie with the Indianapolis Colts."

Was Williams voted a team captain by his teammates ?
"so to be named a captain by my peers and colleagues and my teammates and my friends and brothers, extremely grateful, extremely happy ..."

Yeah, no shit. Just not a fan of it. Doesn’t mean it can’t be done.

And not saying it was in this case, but I also know that “voting” for captains is sometimes rigged.
