This is where Tempo usually jumps in to defend His Guy Poles....

He’s on the clock finally. The team is starting to look like he envisioned it. Needs to click sooner rather than later.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

I can explain why I’m more critical of Caleb than Justin (I shouldn’t have to but I can):

1) Caleb (best prospect since Andrew Luck)

2) Justin was never set up to succeed. Forced to play without proper preparation (was not day 1 starter as a rookie). The GM literally tore the team down around him year 2. Literally half the team was on one year deals. He had much worse talent around him than Caleb does. Caleb has been built around, Justin was set up to fail (and should have needed more development than Caleb).

3) I literally told PAMan and Judy that while I’m a Bears fan and rooting for Caleb longterm they (and people here) are going to hear about it from me at every turn when he does something wrong. I had to hear it, you guys are getting some payback.  I’ve actually been far kinder to Caleb than some here have been to Fields.

Number 1 just shows you are Cowherd34. That is your problem you believed the dumbasses.

Number 2 just shows you are a FFF. He sucked. He did not want to be coached. Too much Bible, too little film when here. It is year 5 and you are still  waiting for him to succeed.

Number 3, you are miffed about a) Fields getting run out of town because he sucked ass here when you claimed he could be a superstar (see No. 2) and b) Hoge humiliating you. You can't stand being wrong.

1) Ok? And you said multiple times that #1 overall picks bust all the time, so we shouldn't do it. Now you're upholding that standard. Got it.
2) Caleb has been built around? Yeah, it looked like it last night, lol. Bustin had enough to do what he had to do. Caleb has talent too, but let's not pretend that he has Super Bowl talent around him. He doesn't.
3) You are way more critical of the coaching staff and Caleb than you ever were of Flus and Fields. Way more. You often told me that I was too tough on Flus and Fields, despite what what we were all looking at. I'm critical as fuck of Caleb, and Johnson and everyone else. I haven't changed. You have because now you're unleashing some kind of weird fury because your guy, the one you latched onto and desperately needed to succeed here, is gone.I don't know.

If Bustin was still here, and performed like Caleb did last night, you would have been in his corner. It's weird.

Your fandom is agenda based. Period.

You have me confused with ThePAMan. My fandom is logic based. Fields and Eberflus both needed more time and seasoning than Caleb and Johnson should need. 3 years ago the roster was a bunch of castoffs. That is not the case anymore. My opinions are scenario based. Unlike PAMan, I’m not pissed Justin Fields, a rookie GM, a rookie HC Eberflus, and bottom of couldn’t make the 2022 Bears (with a bottom of the barrel roster) a playoff contender.

I still think it’s mostly fixable. Yes, I want a couple more stars, but the talent is there for a very good team IMO. They just have to get things figured out. The lions started out 1-6 a few years ago and shortly thereafter became a big problem for opponents. Hoping that happens here.

I could be wrong, but I do not recall the Campbell, et al. fucking up the kickoff strategy with 2:06 left in the game.....That was ridiculous.

Having said that, Caleb and Johnson should get every bit as much time as Fields and Flus got. I’ve never once said otherwise. I do expect their learning curves to be much quicker (and a much better roster adds to that expectation).

LOL.

So transparent that you are still so butthurt over your Fields analysis. At least you have admitted it finally.

We had four picks in the first 2 rounds and none of them were visible Monday night. Loveland was not featured. Burden was a rumor, and Ozzy watched from the sideline while Turner watched from his hospital bed or wherever he’s at.

I couldn’t believe Monangai didn’t even get a carry, either. Especially with the run game struggling.

Nope. You can't adjust expectations based on your weird estimates. Either they are ready to win now or they're not.

Caleb is in year 2. Johnson is a rookie head coach. They need more time. It's not up to you to decide how much time they need, just like it's not up to me. You told me 30 starts with Bustin. That was your benchmark, not mine. When you fire on Caleb for sucking, it's totally disingenuous because every fucking time I fired on Fields for sucking, I had to go through you defending him and telling me I was being unfair.

Nope. Fuck that.

Why? We’re gonna give up on the “best prospect since luck” and the hottest coaching hire in several cycles in less than 3 years?
