You predicting soft playoff schedule too? I guess you had them pegged for the 1 seed and playing Carolina in the NFC Championship?

You don't think being at home means anything in the playoffs? LOL

As a Bears fan, you should know better. 1988, 2018. Off the top of my head. Both epic disasters.

Bears home playoff losses:

1987 - humiliating loss to Washington
1988 - destroyed by San Fran in “Bear weather”
2006 - punched in face by Carolina Panthers
2011 - exposed as pretenders by Green Bay
2018 - double doink

Those are the ones I can think of. Am I missing anything semi-recent?

Found a couple more!

1991 - home loss to
cowboys

2001 - Wrecked at home by Philly.

Come to think of it, the Bears are going to need that playoff bye to the Super Bowl…

Ahhhh, damn…I forgot we got embarrassed at home by Washington two years in a row. Add 1986 to the pile!

(I mixed up season/playoff year on a couple ex: 1988 SF was 1989, but you get the point!)

You are the one that says Eberlose is an awesome coach. You have to think he is right up there with such Super Bowl winning coaches such as Doug Pederson, Gary Kubiak, Barry Switzer, Bruce Arians and Sean McVay.

And what does prior history have to do with the current Bear helmed by Eberlose and Poles? That is ancient history you are talking about.

It is also apparent the NFL does not have a dominant team. KC rarely wins by double digits and the Bear would not face them until the Super Bowl. Who in the NFC is dominant? 49er? Viking? Who in the NFC scares a Tempo? I'll hang up and listen for your answer.

I have never once in my life said “Eberflus is an an awesome coach.” Never. Not once. Jesus, I love constantly being put in the position of defending things I never remotely said smh

2006, 2011, and 2019 are “ancient history?” I’m showing you that being a home playoff team hasn’t worked out well for the Bears going back to when we were teenagers.

You must think this is an exceptional bunch if they are going to win 2-3 playoff games because of “home field.” You must have had them pegged as the 1 seed. Even then, they usually get exposed if they aren’t “Super Bowl elite.” Tennesee was a one seed a couple of years ago and got bounced in the first game.

Face it, you one million percent talk out of both sides of your mouth.

Again, you’re playing “fantasy football” if you think a team YOU almost never say anything good about is going to mediocre their way to home field advantage and the Super Bowl. Just delusional thinking.

Your guys Poles and Everlose in charge when they played those games?

Pretty sure I never used the word “elite.” One million percent sure I never said “Super Bowl elite.” I probably said top 5 or 5ish defense. I don’t know if you consider that elite. Not sure I would. When I think elite I think top 2-3. Again, you criticize Poles, Eberflus, and the Bears at every turn; yet also predicted they will mediocre their way to a Super Bowl berth. Just a delusional thought process.
