Again, when you have not been fluffing Fields, you have fluffed Eberlose and the D. You said they were Super Bowl elite.

Again, I never used the words “Super Bowl elite,” but the Bears have not given up more than 21 points in 11 straight games. Not bad.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

True, but you did get on the Steeler D for giving up 20...

“Best defense in the league” needs to hold onto a 4 point lead with 3 minutes left on their home field. End of story.

You’d absolutely be shouting this from
the rooftops if it were the Bears.

No, I got on them for giving up a game losing touchdown on their own field with 3 minutes left.

What if they are not the best defense in the league? What if they looked good because the opponents were not good or playing well at the time (Atlanta)? The Cowboy went up and down the field on them.

The Elite Bear D certainly got eaten alive by Flacco last year at the end of the game, didn't they?

Ok, “premier defense” then. You would absolutely blow your gourd if ANY Bears defense gave up a 4 point lead at home with 3 minutes left, let alone a highly regarded one. Your hypocrisy is glaring here.

I literally get a “Great defense!” Text from ThePAMan almost every time the  Bears give up a chunk play on defense…

I would have blown my gourd over the purported premier Bear defense giving up 450 yards of offense to the Cowboy like the Steeler did.

I will change it to "Premier defense" this weekend.

Either way, no chance in hell you’d let a Bears defense off the hook for giving up a 4 point lead with 3 minutes left at home.

Depends on how the game had gone up to that point. You knew the Cowboys were going to drive down the field as they had moved the ball at will the whole game. I did ask how the Cowboys were going to blow the game though as they had turned it over 3x.

Of course, I am more vested in the Bear.  So there is that.

Odds are I am not letting YOU off the hook for claiming the Bear were an Elite defense, when they were bum slayers at the end of last year. Granted, they were bums themselves since they had Fields.

I noticed you dropped the “Super Bowl” from “Super Bowl elite.” Good move. As I probably never even used the word elite. Let alone Super Bowl. Do I need to remind you yet again that you were the one predicting a Super Bowl appearance for the Bears this year, and not me?

I dropped it despite you claiming at some point they were Super Bowl level and elite. Never together,  but separately.

And yes, they have a very easy schedule and you said they are a Super Bowl level defense. I said they should win despite Eberlose.
