The FBI settled with this papist Marcus Allen a few months ago. Now he seems to be confirming why the FBI suspended him to begin with. Sounds like he has mental health issues.

No mention the guy is a right winger.

His 663,000 total includes those being detained.

Note also, these appear to be criminal records from their former countries. We don't know the context.

What this tells us is a couple things we already knew. ICE doesn't have sufficient detention facilities, and the immigration courts don't have enough Judges, etc..

A sizable part of the problem is due to Trump's zero tolerance policy of prosecuting simple unlawful entry as a crime. That made them eligible for trials, attorneys, etc.

Technically, simple unlawful entry has been a crime since 1929. However, it was previously treated like unlawful presence, as a civil offense, handled by administrative processes -- unless there were aggravating factors such as additional crimes.

Trump's policy created a back log, and diverted resources from actual serious criminals.

Perhaps the problem isn’t too few judges and detention facilities, but that we are letting too many people in and have been for way too long.

Interesting that this too is Trump’s fault, and not the administration who let an increasingly large stream pour across the border the last few years. Trump wanted to secure the border, and you guys were apoplectic about that. Now you’re mad he didn’t prosecute the people that came across the border that he wanted to stop in the first place?

The problem is that we are not prosecuting people with something to lose. Start giving massive fines and then detention to employers of illegals and the problem is gone. No work, no illegal workers. QED.

But we'd rather demonize immigrants, and give some lip service with partial walls and few border cops when the powers that be DO NOT WANT TO STOP THEM. And you fall for it every time.

For more perspective, we have a convicted felon running for President.
