Well, like you said the other day, no one votes for deep cuts and they kill political careers. Congress largely rejected the deep ones that were proposed. Only about 1/4 to 1/3 of the tax cut loss of revenue was offset by spending cuts. The tariffs were actually helping until they were struck down believe or not.
Hopefully Tempo is enjoying his tax cut!
At least the democrats have understood this and pushed for tax increases unlike Republicans who just want free stuff and give the bill to your kids
Tariffs are revenue but they are regressive. Better to have no tariffs and increase the corporate tax rate and upper income brackets
