Let the record show that Spark just compared Williams playing for 10th ranked 11-2 Oklahoma under a coach that produced two recent Heisman Trophy winning quarterbacks to Justin Fields getting saddled with at best the second worst roster in the NFL (you could argue Houston was just as bad) and a totally unproven OC.

Did I lie about Fields getting handed shit in his 2nd year, a critical year in an NFL QBs development?

Williams has 36 career games. And FTR his freshman season (which we apparently cannot count) his stats are almost identical across the board all three years. So I’ll give him credit for consistency in that regard.

I never once said this or anything else was a definitive argument in his NFL potential. Just that this should probably be looked at further by those thinking about taking him. It could be a nothing burger. But it’s interesting.
