Went to the Hawks game tonight. Man, they are even worse defensively when watching from the 300 section where you can see the whole play developing. And Jack Daniel's drinks are over $11. Ouch. In light of this discovery, I can only imagine the NHL will give the Blackhawks back the $2 million fine for not following league protocol on how the complaint was handled. Can only imagine the Hawks will be asking for the settlement money issued to Kyle Beach back. And I can only imagine everyone will get their jobs back since this was all just a frivolous accusation and a misunderstanding. Am I correct?

I'd say read the report, but you lack the attention span and are lazy. Plenty of head scratching actions by Beach are described in there, which is why he was pissed when the report was released. You may have some questions about him after reading it. Nonetheless, the guy who is now a registered sex offender did harass others and they did nothing to stop him until after the Cup run was over.
They definitely violated league policy. They violated their own internal policies. They violated the law. You could use that report to teach a class on what not to do when it comes to EEO complaints. Rockwell got rid of all the guys involved (and they still don't have jobs now). McDonough looks terrible. Q - left Florida after the report - does not come off well at all. Stan sat in the big meeting where others made bad decisions and now has no job. Cheveldayoff, who is now the Winnipeg GM and was Stan's assistant at the time, is the only one who sat in the big meeting and survived.

You just admitted the Blackhawks were horribly negligent with how they handled it. Everyone lost their jobs. The Hawks were fined and sued. They are not getting their money back nor an apology from the NHL. What’s changed? Would you go into a court of law with your “but they had a threesome” argument if you had to defend the Blackhawks? Your comment does nothing to change what happened, and how terrible it was.

Not that I’m particularly religious anymore, but I used to go to mass every morning with my grandmother before catching the bus to my Catholic high school. My grandmother used to pray 2 hours a day. My mother was the oldest of 7 kids all who attended about 90 years of Catholic schooling.
TBH tho, the only reason my kid is attending CCD is to keep his grandmothers happy.

Well, if I was 100% innocent of something, and statute of limitations could get the case tossed before having to fuck with going to trial, I would 100% want my lawyer to pursue that avenue. Seems like a no brainer. You never know what might happen in a trial, or what a jury might do.

Not saying it’s not the prudent thing to do for the defense. It just doesn’t scream “we’re innocent.”
