I know it's traditional, but I find navigation easier in mobile if not every thread begins with the same three letters.

“Vance has not accused Trump or his associates of wrongdoing but is examining, among other things, whether property values were manipulated to reduce Trump’s taxes or obtain other economic benefits. The case is being heard by a grand jury that will decide whether there is evidence to indict Trump or his associates.”
🤔 I guess just start throwing shit at the wall and hope something sticks. It’s what they did for 4 years.
Edit....didn’t our fat-ass Governor just take a bunch of toilets out of his mansion to manipulate property taxes. Oh and the whole wiretap convo with a former Governor who went to prison about trying to buy a Senate seat?!

They apparently already believe he undervalued property (and income?) for tax purposes and overvalued it for credit purposes. He was broke at tax time; loaded when he wanted a loan. Didn't Cohen admit that?

If you weren't so dumb, you'd know that this is what it's always been about.
It's always been bank fraud and insurance fraud. Trump fudged the value of his assets to obtain loans, and fudged them the other way to pay less tax. He materially misrepresented his assets to banks and insurance companies.

Yeah he did, but we’ll see what all this is about....
Cohen told Reuters he has evidence to overcome any questions about his credibility. “Unfortunately for Trump, I have backed up each and every question posed by the district attorney’s office,” Cohen said, by providing “documentary evidence.”
I mean Cohen has every reason in the world to rollover and help himself. Question is, are you/they really gonna believe someone who has been caught lying under oath?!

No, that's not at all the question.
Your willingness to project uninformed opinions as clever talking points is what makes it fun, rather than sad, to pile on.

Lol, I know that’s what it’s always been about dumbass. Along with anything else they can try to accuse him of.
Sounds like the banks and insurance companies should do some better investigations. They don’t have to loan him the money or insure him. Sounds like they didn’t mind and it’s not like they didn’t know who he was.
I guess we’ll see what comes of it. I’m in no way saying he’s innocent. Just gotta see the proof.

It's not irony.

Setting aside the Ken Lay thing, I think it most likely that certain interested Russian entities find a way to prevent Donald Trump from ever being pursued seriously. He may be indicted, but I highly doubt we ever get a trial.

To make it interesting, he would pay you $5 if he does not get arrested in x years. If he does get arrested, you have to make your family's dinner from your own dumpster diving discoveries. Now that would be interesting.

Republicans Who Railed About Clinton Emails Are Quiet on Trump’s Records
"This is who Donald Trump is. He frequently will attack people falsely for things he is actually doing.”

"I have to start with the hypocrisy though, because it's not just hypocrisy. It's that Donald Trump himself was mind-numbingly incompetent when it came to the protection of classified information. So it's not just that he criticized Clinton and then did something similar. He did something vastly worse on multiple occasions. So much so that we were scared, legitimately scared to take sensitive, classified information into the Oval Office and tell the president of the United States about it." -- Miles Taylor, a former chief of staff in the Department of Homeland Security,

Surprise: Some of the Documents Trump Tried to Hide at Mar-a-Lago Were Actually Pretty Important
In that they were classified and, in some cases, marked “top secret.”

While President Trump was in office, staff in the White House residence periodically discovered wads of printed paper clogging a toilet — and believed the president had flushed pieces of paper, Maggie Haberman scoops in her forthcoming book, "Confidence Man."

Nice little story by Wittes.
Joffe's researchers knew they had no opposition research, and if they used every trick in their bags it wouldn't fly public scrutiny. It's in Durham filings.
(https://i.ibb.co/vZjYLgY/Screenshot-20220214-203514.jpg) (https://ibb.co/pJLy4Gy)
Durham is alleging unauthorized access to servers used by the sitting President. The potential criminality is one thing. It's also appears to be a huge national security issue.
I'm not sure Wittes should be downplaying any of this.

No, no, no. Saying the Russians planted everything to make it look like Hillary was tapping their internets. Hillary probably was also disguised as the Russian lawyer who meet met with Jr. and Manafort in Trump Tower to discuss "adoptions.' She saw the Tom Cruise Mission: Impossble pick your number where he is disguised and rips off the face mask.

Alex Jones, actually.
If they have actual evidence, I'm sure they will bring it. Find it hard to believe they have evidence that Hillary was directly involved, but we shall see. I'm guessing the odds of this part of the case being more like all the bogus vote fraud lawsuits is high, but let's see what happens.

It may very well stop with low hanging fruit.
You know, to make sure something worse doesn't happen down the road. 🙈
What of 'Clinton approved a plan by one of her senior policy advisors ......" that Obama was briefed on ?

Maybe one of the distinguished attorneys can chime in ......
Is it true that a grand jury can no longer be used to research a charge that has been filed, but a grand jury can be used to research additional charges on the charged individual or on other individuals ?
