Joffe's researchers knew they had no opposition research, and if they used every trick in their bags it wouldn't fly public scrutiny. It's in Durham filings.


Durham is alleging unauthorized access to servers used by the sitting President. The potential criminality is one thing. It's also appears to be a huge national security issue.
I'm not sure Wittes should be downplaying any of this.
