Save the children!

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Hopefully a child isn't punted off a bridge every time Fields holds the ball too long and takes a sack.
Official winner of the HQ Tallest Midget award. Thanks, Jobu!

Aaron Rodgers’ towel boy Luke Getsy has no clue what he is doing. You arguably have the greatest running QB in NFL history, and you refuse to use that as a weapon when your offense is struggling. Justin Fields cannot go 4 carries for 3 yards in a 10 point loss. If he goes 11 for 10 yards, ok, at least you tried.

Calling back to back RB screens from your 6 yard line (when you’ve clearly fallen in love with the play) isn’t fooling a veteran defense like Tampa. Aaron Rodgers’ towel boy Luke Getsy should be arrested and brought to The Hague to stand trial for his crimes against humanity. That’s not to absolve Justin Fields from blame, he needs to get better. But just about everyone not named DJ Moore is failing him right now.

Unfortunately that’s the reality of a salary cap world. If your investments go bad, you have to rip the band aid off and start over. Trying to salvage something out of Pace’s roster would have been pure idiocy.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/bears/2023/9/18/23879232/bears-coach-matt-eberflus-screen-pass-was-not-wrong-call-justin-fields-shaq-barrett-interception-nfl

The Bears were right to attempt a screen pass from their own 6-yard line, based on the look the Buccaneers’ defense showed them before the snap, coach Matt Eberflus said Monday.

Quarterback Justin Fields has the authority to change the play if he deems it necessary, but there was nothing to suggest it wouldn’t work, Eberflus said — even if the Bucs said later they presumed a screen was coming.

“That’s a great look for that particular play,” he said Monday. “They’re in shell defense, the linebackers are all back. There’s no one really taking the linebacker in that situation, he’s a zone covered guy. The pre-snap in terms of what Justin was doing was A-1. There’s nothing wrong in there.”

***

Down three with about two minutes to play, Fields threw an interception to outside linebacker Shaq Barrett, who felt a screen was coming by the way he was blocked, pirouetted and picked off a pass. He returned it six yards for a touchdown to seal the win.

Luke Gutless, calling plays not to lose strikes again.

Getsy may have his pick of OC jobs if the Bear launch him. Getting the job done with limited QB talent between Fields and Bagent.

Betting the Jets wish Getsy was their OC and able to make their QBs look remotely competent.

Or have him work with Mac Jones and the Pat's would be doing ok!
