Parkins wants more running and threat of running so maybe Fields can actually pass the ball. Given that Fields is now Checkdown Charlie, and shows zero promise of being coachable (despite all that alleged hard work over the spring and summer), yeah, may as well let him run amuck and just throw long when he feels like it. If he gets hurt, he gets hurts, and move on. He's not going to be a pocket passer, so why bother. He will be one and done as a starter when this contract ends.
