yes we all know the state of illinois would wisely spend those additional funds on much needed investments in infrastructure, education and healthcare, and not to pay debts to send checks to pensioner retirees in florida and other states

Laughable. Maybe the Purported Progressive Governor can unwind all of his offshore tax dodge mechanisms and pay his "fair share" first.

Oh, and I must have missed the part where the Dems unwound Trump and the GOP's SALT limits when they did control both houses and the presidency.
