As Murph pointed out, everyone they felt was deserving of one, got one. You’re going to have to show me where there was a limited number of winners for me to buy this one. Glad to hear that if it was your daughter or mother  you would be fine with it. You were glad Title IX was passed so dudes can take spots on teams for women. Maybe you can take the spot of a woman on the women's golf tour.

I haven’t said a god damned thing about athletics. I’m talking about a transgender person who won an award of which 11 were handed out (so probably not a specific number i.e. an award that was “stolen” from a woman, which it was not).

You are either an advocate for gay/trans people or you are not. You seem pretty inconsistent. Surprise, surprise.

On the athletic field is the one place I might make an exception. I’m not sure what the right thing to do about men competing as women is. I’m pretty sure it’s an overblown “problem,” though. And I’m pretty sure no one is doing it just to gain an athletic advantage. I’d say maybe make trans athletes their own award or whatever. I’m not sure what to do about it, and it’s not my job to figure it out. I’m not going to hate on someone for identifying with the gender that makes them feel comfortable, though.

You are actually embarrassingly dumb. That has zilch to do with it. If you are gay man, you are still a man. If you are a gay woman, you are still a woman.  If you are trans, are you still a biological man or woman? Yes. If you transition, ok. If this was an International Trans Woman Day award, I'd be supportive. It wasn't.
