Or, maybe they could not put up shit candidates in the primaries? You just listed some winnable races. Mitch has been pissed about the level of GOP candidates in winnable races. Yet, odds are the GOP still ends up taking the majority of the races you listed. But hey, you are right: Manchin and Sinema suck! We don't want them anyway! We would rather be in the minority than have them in office! Just plain stupid.

John Fetterman is pretty much the best candidate you could choose. Raphael Warnock WAS ELECTED SENATOR vs an incumbent!

Fetterman is 1,000x better than Lamb.  State-wide elected official that is progressive with a blue collar streak that can appeal to a wide array of people.  Assuming he recovers from his stroke fully, and he should, he could very well be running for president in 2028.  Lamb was good for winning that one purple district he is in.  He would not stoke turnout in the major cities in Pennsylvania enough to win a statewide race even against Oz.

Here is how I handicap the close senate races:

Fetterman over Oz in PA
Warnock over Walker in GA in a squeaker because it's Georgia
Johnson over Barnes in WI even though Ron Johnson might be one of the stupidest human beings on the planet
Vance over Ryan in OH but closer than it should be in Ohio because Ryan has run a damn good campaign.  JD Vance is trash but it is Ohio after all.
Kelly over Masters in AZ because astronauts are always better than fascists, even in Arizona
Budd over Beasley in NC in a fairly close outcome
Rubio over Demings in FL because it's Florida.  They would elect Hitler if given the chance.
Masto should win re-election in NV but it looks close

I show a net pick-up for Democrats of 1 seat but there are a lot of very close races in potential pick-up states.  I just want the election done so I can start watching live tv again without seeing the same 3 political ads ad nauseum.

Is your assessment that despite Warnock being the incumbent, he should have not entered the primary despite winning against an incumbent 18 months ago?

Fetterman's stroke was a few days before the primary, well after most of the votes were in. Are you saying he should have dropped out after winning the primary? A popular Lt Gov that basically screams "I am Western PA" vs Conor Lamb who screams "I am Warm Milk"

I don't watch a lot of TV, so I've been able to escape most of it. Neither the districts I permanently reside in nor the one I am currently at have competitive races for statewide or congressional offices, but two competing ballot props legalizing sports betting are two of the most expensive elections ever. Basically one lets DraftKings do sports betting, one lets the Indians do sports betting. Both sides are running ads against the other side's props railing on the evils of gambling, that will be allowed by their own props.

What I can't wait for is the text messages to stop. You buy one BIDEN mask as a goof and your phone becomes a better vibrator than The Rabbit (TM)

First, I mentioned that all of the races listed were winnable but that the GOP would probably win the majority of them.

Warnick is fine as a candidate. Will see how he does when it is an off election.   The rest, shaky at best.

Nothing wrong with Lamb either. Probably would have beaten Oz. If Fetterman is popular as you claim, he shouldn't be in a race at all with Oz.

You sure do love Lt. Governors. They don't do jack shit and no one knows who they even are.
