I had zero problem with Caleb attending a golf tournament. I was a little bothered by it because the franchise he’s in line to lead was waiting on vital information from him at the time. It just sends a poor message IMO. It’s not end of the world shit.

But for all we know he had communicated to them exactly when he would do his medical stuff.  There is no indication this bothered anyone in the Bears organization, so why would it bother me?

So you really think Ryan Poles wasn’t at least a little miffed that Caleb made him wait for the medicals? That would be totally naive. If Poles’ attitude was “hey bro, whenever…” then that would bother me about Poles. Fire Poles (said no one)!

I can assure you, Poles wanted them at the combine. It doesn’t mean he wasn’t “willing” to wait. He obviously was.

I have no clue.  There was certainly no indication that Poles minded.

I think it’s extremely likely Poles knew exactly when the medical stuff would happen, don’t you?  They seem to have been in near constant communication with Caleb

I have no idea.  Neither do you, though.

I think if Caleb said “hey I’m not doing medical for anyone at the combine but I got you in a few weeks when I come for my visit” then chances are good that Poles wasn’t too worried about it.

Frankly, I doubt you know how a “leader of a serious organization” thinks.  There’s no indication that Poles was upset or put off by it though.  People like you are the only ones I’ve seen upset about it
