I missed the part where she said black people felt connected to OJ because white people were killed.
I do think black people were far more likely to believe OJ was framed; especially since the victims were white.
At the time, anyone who was paying attention knew the police were not above framing black (and brown) suspects. The belief was they were guilty of something.
Also, to this day, murders of whites remain a higher priority, especially prominent whites.
I am pretty sure that is what the lady is getting at. Not what the anti woke poster is trying to imply.
Woke traditionally means to be aware of racial prejudice and implicit racism, and to take appropriate action. The word has been to cover other forms of social injustice like sexism, homophobia, transphobia...
