Many of my friends fall for the argument that we should take care of our own. It's as if helping others takes away from us. With a few notable exceptions, they consider themselves devout Christians.

That is an opinion. Here is an actual fact:

Nothing criminal would be happening to him if he had conceded the election gracefully and turned in the classified documents.

As for investigations, he got off easy compared to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Trying to remember which states changed statutes of limitations to pave the way for Clinton’s civil trials, maybe you guys can help me out?

These civil trials are absurd. Particularly this bank one. Victimless crime if it was even that, and definitely would not be taking place if he wasn’t running for president.

I dunno about absurd, but if the banks were repaid; it is hard to see the point. Kind of like charging someone with income tax evasion after they paid their back income taxes.
