Yep. Some people will use the app for the lower prices and some will just not go to McDonald's as much as they used to because corporate won't give them app prices on in-store orders.
Like the CEO said, customer counts are down.

I’ve saved a ton of money with the McDonald’s app. I use it more than I’d like to admit, because I’m in a car a lot and my 10 year old loves McNuggets. But I’ve saved a lot of money with it. I’ve cut back on how much I eat, though. I usually just get a $2 biscuit or a free mcchicken.
