Irvin came across as a manufactured candidate.  He stumbled repeatedly throughout the primary campaign. The Trump GOP likes authentic crazy, and they will get it in spades with Bailey.

I realized something was amiss back in grade school. They gave us some kind of test and said I scored in the top 3%. I figured I was pretty stupid, and if 97% were even stupider; then we were in trouble. To make matters worse, most of my classmates had a high estimation of their own abilities and intelligence. The dumber ones even  tended to see themselves as the smartest. This was decades before Dunning and Kruger published their study confirming what Laozi observed 2500 years ago.

If you want to address the excesses of participation trophies, self esteem education, and speech codes, I hear you. 

That said, mental illness and transgenderism are not new. We have gradually stopped sweeping them under the rug and removing some of the stigma.
