Pat Ryan, the money man, likes Fitz. I met him. Ryan. Not Fitz.

Ryan said the speed of the leader of is the speed of the team.

His wife is the former Shirley Welsh. Hence Ryan Field and Welsh Ryan Arena.

Also, I believe David Haugh is the big cheerleader for Fitz. And how would you know? You listen to The Score down there in Washington?

I used to. Bernstein used to have Fitz on frequently. He was actually an entertaining interview. Bernstein loved him, I remember that.

It’s central Illinois, not the Mississippi Delta.

Yeah, but he would seem to be totally in lock step with PAMan regarding his view of The Score. So it would strike me as curious that a downstater who doesn’t even like these personalities would listen.

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Again, with the exception of Herb Lawrence (who was never a main host and is no longer with the score) everyone held him in high esteem.

Herb Lawrence hates him because Herb is an Illini meatball through and trough.

Not as interesting as your workplace updates, but very interesting.

Of course The Score losers could not see through the act.

Those fuckers killed a kid during an illegal practice and all The Score douchebags still sucked NU cock while killing {insert name of suck ass Illini football coach here} for far less.

I’m from downstate and used to be an obsessive Score listener back in the glory days when Bernstein was still listenable and Rusty from Stickney was a thing.

Yeah, I listened all the time too. I think I was pretty much completely done when Parkins joined.

That was the end of it for me, and I was mostly a hate listener anyway after AM1000 became totally unlistenable.

All of the newer guys blow.

I think the last straw for me was Bernstein melting down about the Bears flying to Nashville to play the Titans in the fall of 2020. There were Covid cases in the organization and he was absolutely losing his mind that they were “getting in an aluminum tube for 2 hours” and how reckless it was. It’s a bunch of strong healthy freaks in their prime and anyone concerned or at risk shouldn’t be on the plane or in an airport. Fuck off.

Bernstein pivoted from being highly enjoyable for his irreverence to another holier-than-thou virtue signaler.

I am streaming it in my office right now for the first time since then, still sucks. I see why tempo likes it though.

I haven't listened to 670 really since 2003. I don't know.  Off and on since then

Serious question. What’s your beef with Parkins?

The kid had asthma. I’m guessing most coaches have conducted illegal practices.
