I thought there was value in sitting and learning? Rodgers was ready when he finally got a chance. Granted, he’s Aaron Rodgers. I’m not saying Love can’t get better, but let’s not pretend he’s a rookie. He’s definitely not. He learned from the best, and has very adequate weapons in a proven system. I just expected a little more. He’s got a chance to show something with a few minutes left having just surrendered the lead.

Love horrifically underthrows deep ball to get picked and end game. GB got way too greedy there. Deep ball wasn’t necessary.

Lafleur/Love with the added benefit of a bye week could only scheme up 17 points against the worst defense in NFL history. Even Getsy/Fields put up 28 on them.

Their situations are very different. Whereas Fields has had poor coaching, lack of talent, and had to learn while taking his lumps; Love has had the chance to learn behind the greatest regular season quarterback of all time. And has a solid group of skills players around him. And allegedly good coaching. Of course, Justin has more playing time. It’s hard to compare the two exactly evenly in an age where most quarterbacks are hurried along because of the salary cap.

Love may be fine down the road, but he’s not good right now. He probably should be better. He’s a 4 year veteran.
