I honestly don’t see a major difference between Dak Prescott and Justin Fields and Prescott has been the Cowboys quarterback for like seven years

By and large Dak has been viewed as an above average NFL quarterback for most of his career. He was flirting with elite when he broke his ankle.  He’s been the QB of the Dallas Fucking Cowboys for like 7 years. We want to run Fields out of town before 2.5.

If wins “are a quarterback stat,”
Justin Herbert isn’t getting enough scrutiny. FTR, I don’t think wins are a quarterback stat, but at some point, don’t you have to win an important game? It’s why Philip Rivers is not a HOFer IMO.

The point is, it doesn’t take much to be decent. Only a few are elite. For the record, I’d gladly take Justin Herbert. He’s really damn good. But he doesn’t get much scrutiny for a guy who probably hasn’t won a very meaningful game yet.
