Again, we are not really debating what Cowherd said or didn’t say. We’re arguing over the understood definition of “Super Bowl winning quarterback.” Which everyone with a functioning brain understands as “Won a Super Bowl in which he played quarterback.” No one thinks of Carson Wentz as the winning Super Bowl quarterback of the Eagles, because it’s Nick Foles who took down  Tom Brady and won the Super Bowl.

It’s really not even debatable. He was trying to “gotcha me” on the most technical of technicalities. And it wasn’t in the spirit of the “Super Bowl winning quarterback.” debate. No one thinks of Drew Bledsoe as “Super Bowl winning quarterback Drew Bledsoe.” They think of him as the guy who lost his job to the guy who won the Super Bowl.

To the contrary, the discussion was about his list (even with a typo in it), its including Haskins, and the other errors on said list.

I think everyone agrees that Cowherd's list should have been “Won't win a Super Bowl in which he played quarterback.” That list would not have included Haskins or those who are not even in the NFL at this time.

No, it's not. The discussion wasn't about "his list." The original discussion was that there was a dead man on his list, and he and his editors should have realized this. Then ChickenGeorge in a lame attempt to "own Tempo" tried to make the case that Carson Wentz is a "Super Bowl winning quarterback (technically)." I mean, he even included a picture of Wentz holding the Lombardi Trophy. Anyone who's not being disingenuous or has half a brain knows that winning one while on IR isn't what people mean by "Super Bowl winning quarterback."
