Hey Guys!
Sorry I have not been by in awhile. This covid shit has put a big dent in my business, so my time is focused on adapting to the "new normal" to keep the ship from sinking.
Anyway, it was really sad to hear of Lou's passing. Lou was the reason I became such an avid Illinois hoops fan. From childhood through college, I rarely missed a game while living in CU. Lou lived a block over, and would always talk to kids and say hi to everyone when he would take walks with Mary. My dad worked for the University, and Lou had a lot of appreciation and respect for him. Lou rebuilt the Illinois basketball brand and was a class act.
I was in basketball band during the Flying Illini season, and was lucky enough to make the trip to Seattle. We shared the plane and hotel with the team. It was an amazing experience (except for the game).
May he RIP.
