Now they are saying that Mulcahy is in play.

Well supposedly he is entering the portal.
And we could use a PG that is eligible and not injured.
Lol.
Love Mulcahy.
Hope it works out

Mulcahy would be way, way too close to the best case scenario for me to even consider getting excited about.

Would be a massive get, bigger IMO than RayJ would’ve been.  I’m not counting on it.

Agree. The guy is a stud and has a high BB IQ. We would be Top 20 with him.
Have no idea if we have any chance.

Really hope the Williams kid is eligible and can practice this summer sometime.
And Harmon is still a question mark.

Need less constant drama around PG. Staff need to get on top of this.

Can all but guarantee he goes to an east coast school or notre dame or something

Out of the "known" schools to be landing spots, Illinois imo or Notre Dame make the most sense. If Illinois and NIL is focused on helping charity, then I think Mulcahy ends up choosing us. The school that helps the charity will get alot of consideration from him I believe.

Huge list of schools supposedly interested.
Big hitters.

We don't win these types of battles.
I think UWood's anger management issue is a liability here.

Yes we don't win these battles, however we do have an enticing situation with guys coming back etc....I don't expect us to get him or another stud PG at this point....Shannon being point alot seems to be the way we will go again.

Not sure TSJ was ever the point a lot.
He is not a lead guard.

We had Thing 1 and Thing 2 at PG when Epps went out.
Both sucked.

The option is Harmon who we could live with, but there seems to be question if he is even going to show up.
Williams now seen as doubtful to be ready.
My guess is assuming we miss on this one, they add another scoring guard who can sort of dribble the ball up the court and patch it together.

He’s not going to be surprised that Underwood yells so if that’s an issue we probably won’t be involved from the beginning.

If we’re a consideration I think it’s fair to guess the anger issues wouldn’t prevent us from getting him.

When Wilcher picks St. John's, does that cause anyone to defect?

I think that it is a factor in all of our recruiting at this point.
Have no idea what this kid thinks of it.
It is not an asset.

The TSJ at point was more in reference as to, by default he was facilitating especially after the Clark/Epps fiasco transpired. I would think Harmon is a givin at this point, Williams will probably have to get a medical still for next year play(?). Harmon/DGL/Harris and crew handle the play this year (unless Reeves comes on board), then Williams and DGL are interchangable the following year. Experience guards with Morez coming on board.

If we land Mulcahy we would have one of the top defenses in the Country potentially.  They said NIL isn't a priority.  I would be throwing every dollar we have at this kid.  Always loved the way he played.  Reminds me a lot of a taller Arron Craft.
