Similar to a pitcher who is having trouble finding the plate, then manages to find the strike zone with a slider.

Great “analogy…”

Again. Who here has advocated for drafting him at 9? And I’d they did, and he turns out to be Christian McCaferry 2.0 I’d argue that makes him a premium player in the NFL.

It'd be about the biggest possible risk.

Shore up the lines, please.

Unfortunately, that was the only 6 points of the quarter for the Bear.

         4th    Final
Lions  21      31
Bears  6       30

So the Bears blew a 24-10 lead in the fourth quarter and it was Fields' fault?

Hmmm...

Remember when they did not move the ball worth a shit in the 4th quarter to eat up time, aside from one nice TD run, and The Franchise QB threw the pick 6? I do....

Again. Good players are available in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Also, I’m not sure taking a guy considered the best at his position in 5 years (according to many) is a huge risk.

There are also cap cuts coming. I have a feeling the Bears will add another OL after cuts. If anything, Robinson is the safest offensive player in the draft. I bet he opens the season as ROY of the favorite.

Hmmm...

PAMan logic says Fields lost them that game. Leave him alone, he’s rollin’.

Remember when the defense gave up up the lead in the 4th quarter, and the kicker missed an extra point that would have at least secured overtime? I’m sure that was Fields’ fault.

Fields’ fault. He didn’t run for enough touchdowns.

As if Illinois has never given up 4th qtr points because the offense couldn't stay on the field long enough to give the defense a rest.

Needed the offense to chew up clock and not turn the ball over. Did you watch the game?

One would think people around here would be used to this.

Fields’ fault. He didn’t run for enough touchdowns.

The Lion scored early in the 4th, Field then threw the pick 6 on the next possession, then Field ran the ball for the TD on the next possession (and they missed the kick). The Lion scored around the 2 min warning, I believe. Game over.
