If the Bears so clearly sucked in your eyes, why were you saying things like “Where are the wins?!” And bitching about losses, all the while placing almost all of the blame at the feet of Justin Fields. Are you going to deny you did this?

I’d also add that devaluing a position to the point of ignoring a potentially generational prospect might be going a step too far. But again, no one here has been beating the drum to take him at 9. Just ask Custard if you’re the last one confused about my preferred draft strategy.

Safety is probably the least “valued” position in the NFL, but if you told me we’re getting the next Minkah Fitzpatrick at 9, I’d call that a good pick.
