I didn’t watch either of them in college. But they had raw tools. Which is what Stroud has.

I just said they were systems QBs at OK. Hurts they put the "system" in place for him last year at the Eagles. It worked, especially with the defense they had and their ability to be up at least 14 at half in most of their games.

Burrow never played at OSU, did he?

Man, if the Bears had just drafted 5 or 6 Oklahoma quarterbacks in the 1st round the last 30 years things would have been soooo much different.

Having said that, I was pounding the table for Hurts when he came out.

In fact, I believe you have said you do not watch much college football.

Of course most of them all have the raw tools. Isn't Richardson out of FL thought to have the most raw tools?

The issue is trying to figure out who can master reading defenses etc. Can anyone really say that Peyton Manning had all the raw tools?

Yeah. Right. You were buying in. Either that or you’re trolling. Which I doubt you are, because you’re dumb enough to buy into the narrative that Terrelle Pryor, and Dwayne Haskins weren’t good so that means Stroud can’t be good.

Regarding Richardson. Yes, the most tools, but also probably the most raw. Probably has a high floor a la Fields and Hurts of a year ago. His college passing data is far inferior to Fields’ so we’ll see what Richardson can do as a passer in the NFL. Not ruling him out. But I think Stroud is likely the “safest” of the top 4 this class.
