Pitching is the most important thing in this game. If it's not good enough, you don't win. Period. Been watching this game since 1966. You don't have pitching in post season, you don't win. Not going to be able to score 6-8 runs every game and win a series.
The guys in charge need to realize the Cardinals pitching is not good enough.

Yeah, Mozeliak and Girsch stated they don’t need any pitching as the already have 6-7 starters already. Everybody (fans) knows that most of them aren’t reliable and it’s very concerning the GM doesn’t know this. I don’t necessarily think they don’t know, I think they don’t care. The Cardinals definitely have an TON of assets to make a trade for an Ace, and they absolutely need to if they plan on going anywhere in the postseason.

They don't need better pitching? Pa-lease. Waino is 41 and not able to pitch yet and struggled at the end of last season. Matz stinks, period.  Flaherty is questionable right now. Mikolas inconsistent. Their starters are questionable and it puts so much pressure on their bullpen.  If Moz and the GM can't see this, they need to be replaced. Now, we'll just wait until the trade deadline and then do something.  That's just stupid.

Good to see the Cardinals come back to win last night. Able to watch on the Rockies TV network. Mikolas stunk it up but bullpen got it done, especially Cabrera. Still need to improve the starting rotation.  Mozeliak, get it done.
