“The finely tuned machine is going out for a test run.” Not a dig on Fields - Mn

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

Sounds like 4 of the Bears top 6 O-lineman will miss Saturday’s game. Yikes.

Why does he need a tune up for the regular season if it will not affect his entire year or development? What am I missing here?

This division is for the taking, as it was last year. If he is merely competent throwing the ball do you think they have a good chance to make the playoffs? If he runs around like the last half of last year and cannot throw the ball consistently, odds are he get hurts, misses time, and they suck ass again. You agree? Disagree?

It could affect the way he plays in the first half of the first game. Or even the first game. After that, I don’t think it matters. Of course, this is all opinion and not provable or disprovable.

Just gave an early morning airport ride to a woman (butch as fuck, said she had a wife, not that that matters), said she works as a sous chef for the Bears. Got some interesting tidbits:

1) McCaskeys are cheap and Kevin Warren is trying to get them to open the purse strings.

2) Andy Reid likes 3 hot dogs (not Chicago style) served on China with real silverware.

3) Asked her who her favorite player was. She responded “I’m a Falcons fan.” She’s originally from Savannah so makes sense. I rephrased the question and asked “Who’s the nicest, who do you like the most?” She said Justin Fields.

4) Mentioned that Justin eats very clean. Still a vegetarian. Although I mentioned he was supposed to be Vegan and she said “oh yeah.” He’s a clean eater anyway.

5) Said Poles and Warren are nice guys.

6) Has done some work in Cleveland and met LeBron.

Apparently she’s not as cheap as the McCaskeys.

A machine is generally more than just 1 part.

4 of the 6 top OL may miss the game.
The OL who do play tomorrow may very well be the OL for game 1 and then some. Some reps with the 1st string might just be advantageous.
The starters will play also includes the 1st string on defense.

Don't be so butthurt about TheQB playing tomorrow at 12N, when he should be playing.

Why would I be butt hurt? I’m about 99% sure I said I’d prefer he played some.

I would argue he needs to play to increase sharpness heading into the regular season. I think “teaching moments,” are pretty much done until they’ve played game 1.

Maybe Mn should read my posts before commenting.

I’d like to see Fields get some action at game speed to tune up for regular season. I don’t think playing or not playing affects his entire year or development.

I think he should have played week 2 as well.

Apparently she’s not as cheap as the McCaskeys.

Nice! Maybe it was your knowledge of Justin Fields' eating habits that swayed her!

Trust me, he’s reading my shit. He wouldn’t dream of missing a chance to get snarky.
