Mike Florio had a good theory for this one 670TheGOP today et. He’s trying to ingratiate himself to NY fans and put "some money in the bank,” for when things go south. Makes sense.

A. "670theGOP" is awesome. Well done.

B. That theory makes sense in an Aaron Rodgers' world.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

Tempo: "PAMan is a pot stirrer and agent provocateur"

Wright better be good, and fast. He’s apparently putting himself in the HOF 1st ballot already.

"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

What’s the right answer when someone asks a player their expectations for their career?  “I hope I can be a starter someday” sure isn’t it.

“I just want to help my team win, and  be the best version of myself I can be.”

I mean, it’s not a big deal, but “I’m a first ballot HOFer” seems a bit over the top for a guy who hasn’t even been to camp. Again, no big deal. Just hope he doesn’t have a rough rookie year and then get reminded of this.

It's kind of a no-win situation for a kid.  Basically any answer to "how do you envision your career going?" is going to get criticized.

Either he's full of himself, or he has no ambition.

It’s not a big deal. If I were his dad I’d maybe just tell him to try to be a little more humble in front of reporters. Less ammo in case he gets off to a rough start.

Again, not a big deal at all, but just a little weird to hear a kid induct himself into the HOF a few days after getting drafted.

I suspect self-assuredness is one of the reasons the Bears were interested in him to begin with.

Will Levis was apparently pretty self-assured, too. As I said, it’s not a big deal. Just rather he’d ease it back a hair. On the scale of faux pas’ this one barely registers.

Thought experiment:

if the Bears had drafted Jalen Carter and he'd said it would you feel the same way about it?

Even moreso. Get in game shape first.

After the offseason he’s had, I don’t think Carter is on a position to be talking big. If anyone needs to be humble, it’s him.

PAMan was looking for puff pieces, here’s something.

This is “unpossible!” We all know he’s the worst passer ever!
