Brad needs to recruit more  guys with mental toughness like Goode, Harris, and Rodgers.

We're in the tournament for the 3rd straight year. De facto 4th straight year. That's a level of regular success we haven't had since Bill Self's last recruits left campus. So let's be real, right now he's not on the hot seat and shouldn't be.

The tournament record is abysmal and the personnel management is suspect. This year's B1G play without Ayo or Kofi was a Groce-plus. I think it's going to take two years to get him on a hot seat with Bro Guenther as the AD, and I don't think Brad takes another job in the meantime with K-State in a good poition, Texas having a better candidate, etc. At this point I think the most likely scenario is that he retires from Illinois to a calmer life. He's roughly the same age as Jay Wright, and he's coming across as an advertisement to happy post-coaching life. Gets closer to 65 I could see him saying no more of this as most guys in their 60s do.

This is the path to Rutgers/Nebraska-level program performance.

He needs Illini Guardians to pay tougher guys to overcome his crap Tournament coaching.

Yo Tempo, I think Brad is here until he gently retires.

When have either of those schools made 3 straight tournaments or won the B1G?

"Path to" implies heading in the direction of Rutgers/Nebraska. Which is where we're going if we can't develop any players, can't run an offensive scheme, keep relying on other teams' rejects, and keep getting below-average coaching.

(Also, Rutgers would have made three straight tournaments if the 2020 tournament had been played.)

Underwood isn't going anywhere, other than the film room and the recruiting trail.

He might want to consider several sessions with Micah Shrewsberry and with someone well versed in dealing with bipolar kids.

That sounds a bit unfortunate.

I used to say all the time that the only way he wouldn’t retire here was if he got in trouble with the NCAA. Not so sure anymore.

According to the Loyalty insiders he is actively looking for a new gig and Sean Miller is the coach in waiting. Given how things have gone, better put your cups on fellas!

Why would he leave? We have idiots like Spark in the fanbase who think he is awesome! Fucker is stealing money and Spark, and others bend over and just love it.

Why would he want to stay?

You can bring a program back from the dead and dipshits like this who have never known success in their whole fucking lives will act like they can do it better than you.

You're seriously the dumbest person on this board, and JudgeJudy posts here.
