We needed bodies. We signed 0 star Witherspoon the 1st few days of August. A couple of days later he was in fall camp and played in every game.
Fast forward and the consensus All-American goes #5 in the draft.
Just a testament to him and the coaches.

You are such a fucking moron. If only you had more grey matter and could understand nuance. I’m not necessarily disappointed in the pick. I’m disappointed in the value (and lack of value) they got. I think Wright is a solid pick, just not the value I think they could have gotten there. And for the 12th time, they got a lot more for tanking than Darnell Wright you freaking moron.

If it was between going 7-10 and doing exactly whatever we’ve done so far, the choice is still easily “the tank.”

And I don’t like that they gave the best team in the NFC Jalen Carter for the 127thish pick in next years’ draft.

Looks like we are back to the Anger stage of the 7 Stages of Grief. They do say there is no order for the 7 stages.

We are here for you, Tempo, as you process your disappointment over a safe lineman being picked and Poles being "fleeced" when moving back a spot.

So everyone is ready, we should expect the frustrations to mount since the Steeler have the Bear pick in round 2 after Poles wasted it for a WR that the Wingback could not get the ball to this year.

On Monday, Michael Lombardi predicted the Bear would take an OT. He liked Jones over Wright.

He did say that if he were the Eagle, he would trade up to get Carter.

I think he definitely missed on a bit.
