Did they review it ?
I just saw the replay.

They did. Claimed whistle was blown.
Mark Carman: "The Whitlock!...Caleb Williams failed Wayne Whitlock." Been told I need to take my dick out my mouth so maybe I "wont [sic] sound like such a fucking faggot all the time[.]"

Tempo: "PAMan is a pot stirrer and agent provocateur"

And the NHL statement apparently said the play was ruled dead before the whistle was blown or the goal was scored.
If so, what takes 9 minutes to review ?
The last 2 minutes of regulation was great, but Toronto looked a step slow in OT.

"The referee deemed the play dead prior to the puck crossing the Florida line. The call was made in accordance to Rule 78.5 (xii), which states apparent goals shall be disallowed "when the referee deems the play has been stopped, even if he had not physically had the opportunity to stop play by blowing his whistle."

They are not physical enough.
They were better before they gutted the team to get KD, and Durant is now older and injury prone.
Ayton has stagnated and is really soft and kind of a head case.
Paul can't handle the physical grind of a season and get through the playoffs at his age.

They need to to blow it up and regroup around Booker and KD.
I think they have salary and lack of draft picks problems though.

I think they may be kind of fucked.

They traded away their whole future for KD.  Two really good young players, 4 first round picks and a first round swap.  It's going to come out like one of the worst trades in NBA history.

My friend down there thinks Ayton and Paul are gone.

They are in trouble.

Doc Rivers canned. Read that he has nine losses in Game 7s. Ouch.

Spurs getting Wembanyama. Popovich sticking around for at least another decade  :D

Love watching the Nuggets play. Jokic making them triple doubles look easy. I'm rooting for them to win it all.
Official winner of the HQ Tallest Midget award. Thanks, Jobu!

Bucks would be a great fit for Doc.
"He commented more than once that, 'You know, Hitler did some good things, too,'" Kelly recalled to The Times. Kelly said he would usually quash the conversation by saying "nothing (Hitler) did, you could argue, was good," but that Trump would occasionally bring up the topic again.

They definitely played better with Paul sidelined.

Well Ayton sucks, they shouldn't have ever signed him - it was a truly insane signing.  They didn't really want him and in fact had flat benched him in the playoffs; he didn't really want to be there; max deal.  It was crazy the second the pen touched the paper, and anyone thinking more than a few minutes ahead could've seen it was going to be a disaster.  Even better, rumors are the Bulls are going to be suitors for him - fuckin' perfect.  That new Bulls front office seems bad.

Whether Paul leaves or not, he's old and has never had success in the Playoffs.  It'd be a mistake to rely on him going forward, dude's almost 40.

Bucks would be a great fit for Doc.

Would be a major downgrade, but not nearly as much as it'd be if they hired Mark Jackson, which would complete one of the funnier and stupider offseason coaching changes in recent memory.

I believe this was Doc's 10th game 7 loss.

I suspect Pop moves to the front office and they hire Budenholzer to be his heir.  That seems to make a ton of sense.

Nuggs rally to go up 2-0.  Some history making going on here!  Zebra's doing their job contrary to some local narrative.  Oh, and ESPN announcers suck!

I agree so far in these playoffs the all announcers for all have been pathetic

I want Heat vs Lakers final 2, but I live in Miami and lived in OC/LA. Gonna get crazy in Miami when these teams play the streets are flooded with leprechauns holding signs and I live almost across the street. I have to plan to not leave my place for al.ost a ten hr time frame.
