I would just like to add, Jay Wright is a horrible color commentator
I swear to Christ at one point he said he was happy to see us still out there chucking 3s and I wanted to put my boot in his face because shooting 3s is the last thing this team needs.

Since the site was down for me, my one post-game contribution was going to be "holy hell we suck" and then I was going to go about my lovely Sunday otherwise.

Are you going to confuse IVMP with your use of statistics?

I actually agree with a lot of what it said, although it looks silly when it repeats things in order to pretend it has people on ignore.

But the 3-point shot in its current format didn't come along until 1987, so Nichi's residual "knowledge" of all things 1957 doesn't confuse it as much when it's discussing that topic.

Nichi claims a guard with a 1.3 assist-to-TO ratio is a good passer.

Also, I think you have me confused with about half of the rest of the board.

Temp0, for example, seems to think statistics are simply manipulatives to a point. They are like clothes on a Barbie doll to him.

Nichi is shocked to discover that overall statistics can and do change during a game.

Then you have people like Chico who think a statistic is a topping at the potato bar.

You keep quoting them and I wind up reading their  comments. (Note the pc pronouns).

They are clearly having trouble coming up with any good taunts. Are they still heckling LK about guard hard? If so, does anyone point out LK left?

Does anyone point out to you that it's no longer 1955?

Jay Wright: Illinois shoots a lot of 3s, but it's not the percentage that matters. If you make 10, that's 30 points.
What if you go 1-14 in the 2nd half ? Lol.

Yeah. Weird comment by Wright.

Need to shoot at least 35% to justify the amount of 3's this team shoots.

31% as a team is pitiful. Even more pitiful is about 40% of their shots are 3's.

Also too bad that Harris may have gotten the green light to shoot 3s disease. He was 0-3 vs tOSU.
I hope he gets over it soon.
