Why does this team have to get dogwhipped for 25 minutes almost every game before they get engaged? Can't remember seeing a team quite like this one, even in the bad years of Weber and Groce. This team is too talented to be used and abused so often.

Illinois did not guard hard during the first half.

This team sucks so much, and Underwearwood didn't exactly shine in the second half. Trying to time substitutions is dicey until the last couple minutes of the game, but he ended up with Shannon out of the game on offense and then back in on D when he was in foul trouble.

I especially liked the part where the team was chucking 3s left and right, but then at the end of the game when they needed to be doing just that, they decided to pass  the ball around.

Dainja is a liability at this point.

On any given day, our resident #1 prick is sort of right about this year's team. They do suck at times. However, the talent is there.

They are shooting 45% on 59 shots per game. 56% on 34 twos; 31% on 25 threes. Hmmm?

He is obviously wrong about Rodgers and Mayer.

He is right about Clark, but most likely for the wrong reasons.

His Dainja / Pruitt comparison made no sense.

Something is off with Dainja though,  since the hard fall, and it is more than the NW double team.

This team is 320th in 3's. 

The coach needs to devise a better offensive scheme.  Can't have 40% of the offense relying on 3's.

Watched 40 minutes of this game. That was too much. This team's play is infuriating. Constantly being beaten on d with back door cuts. Can't guard one on one.  Stand around the 3 point line on offense. Catch up to only being down 1 point and then OS goes on a run. As someone mentioned, Shannon put back in the game to play D and has 4 fouls. Dumb.
