Home court advantage is not what it once was. Kids are used to traveling. On January 8, IU shot 50%, made 9 three threes, and scored 83 points, but lost at home to NU. The other hyphenated guy went 12-17, scored 33 points. IU was playing with 2 days rest, NW with 3.

Indiana is not the best shooting team. So why not play zone to try and stop Davis? They were scoring at will in the paint. That is why they shot 62%

I don't have faith Underwood will get us anywhere near a national championship or Final Four. I feel he is going to be like a Gene Keady - puts together good teams that do well in conference play, gets a b10 title ever now and then, butt never go far in the tourney. I hope I am wrong

I meant 3 point shooting. They are .370.  So my point was to make them take the higher percentage shoots by playing zone. We were not stopping them in the paint. I mean 35 fucking points by Davis.

Never forget.  Underwood calls Hawkins an "elite shooter".  Bad coaching reinforces this guy's brain dead play.

Underwood will never ever come close to a Big 10 championship team.  I'll tell you the future Illinois is looking at post Kofi.  It's Frank Martin at South Carolina.  That is what Underwood is going to be.  And not the Frank Martin that fluked his way to a final 4, i'm talking the Frank Martin teams after that.
