My recollection is some recognized we would be a worse regular season team without Kofi, but thought we might be a better NCAA tournament team.

At the risk of agreeing with you on a statistic, I would not be surprised if that is true. We missed a lot of shots right next to the basket.

I mentioned in my post game commentary that we missed a ton of layups. That looks about right. Credit to IU for contesting them, but still.

I initially thought 14 was too high, but we did miss 27 from 2 (16-43) so 14 is entirely possible.
