I'm old enough to remember "I’ve literally never seen a football team trade their 3 best players in one calendar year."

You’re older than that.

So, Jaylon Johnson has asked for a trade. Wtf. If you're not gonna pay a young, very effective CB approaching his prime, who the fuck are you going to pay?

Saving the money for the Fields extension.

Sweat for a second.

Tempo, you on Team Dump Poles yet? People claiming this is a desperate move of a GM who is going to get fired.

Montez Sweat to the Bears for a 2024 2nd rounder.

I'd say the defensive line should be significantly improved now.

Unfortunately that isn't saying much when it comes to the Bear D line. Isn't the Commander d line supposed to be thought of as being decent? Sweat has never had double digit sacks.

"Should" being the key word here. Eberflus coaching will probably hold him back.

I think there is very little chance Poles is fired. Eberflus? He gone.

This. Unless he’s asking for a max contract, I see no reason not to pay the guy. I’m just not breaking the bank for him.

They have a shit ton of cap space. He has proven to be an excellent corner. What the fuck else are they spending it on?

Pay him.

That's unfortunate. So, I guess we'll get to see Velus Jones drop passes and trip over nothing on the field for the immediate future.

He would have caught it if Fields had thrown it to him. The problem with that is thinking Fields would have thrown the ball instead of running around and getting sacked.

Niners get Chase Young for a 3rd. Interesting…
