I’ve said in this very forum that you have to be able to throw from the pocket when the game is on the line (and that’s why I think Lamar is a slightly flawed quarterback). Can Justin Fields get to the level of Mahomes or Allen? I don’t know. I hope so. Fields and Allen were not dissimilar their 2nd year. People like TheDipshitMan tend to forget that quarterbacks like Allen and Hurts needed some time to develop.

Running an offense where he runs as much as he passes is not going to aid in his development.

Running an offense where he runs as much as he passes is not going to aid in his development.

And I’ve tried explaining to you numerous times:

1) he doesn’t call the plays
2) they know they can’t pass block
3) they know their receivers suck
4) running the ball (something they do very well) helps a bad defense
5) and yes, Fields isn’t where he should be as a passer

What about those points do you not understand?

It sounds to me like you have an issue with coaching, not Fields. Yet I don’t ever hear you ridicule the coaches. Just Fields.

The coaches can only work with what they got. Getsy adapted to, among other things, having a guy at QB who is a Wingback. They scored far more points in so doing.

The defense sucks for a head coach who is a defensive guy.

At the end of the day, they don't trust Fields, the O line, or the receivers.

The thing is, Tempo, we agree on some things. My point is that Fields' limitations as a QB are now recognized by Getsy, ergo the change to the Wingback offense. You, on the other hand, blame Getsy for not calling more pass plays.

Lmao.

DipshitMan: “Fields can’t get better passing the ball if he’s always running it.”

Me: “He doesn’t call the plays.”

DipshitMan: “That’s because Getsy knows Fields can’t pass.”

Can’t make this idiocy up.

Stop and read what you’re writing for once. It makes no fucking sense whatsoever.

They weren’t passing the ball before they changed the fucking offense. You literally pull shit out of your ass and call it “logic.”

This is literally by fucking design. Did you not notice they traded the 3 best players on the defense? They literally have the least talented front 7 in the NFL. And a very inexperienced secondary. It’s a god damned miracle this team has been competitive.

Worst front 7 (probably easily). Terrible pass blocking. Worst receiving corps I’ve probably ever seen (don’t think that’s an exaggeration); at least worst in memory. Quarterback who struggles to make simple throws (but also makes “wow” throws). Inexperienced secondary. And they’ve been in just about every game. I’m not 100% sold on Getsy (he’s had great moments and very bad ones), but I’m fairly certain Eberflus can coach. They look well coached and play hard despite losing like 6 in a row. This team is not talented. You’ve said yourself they maybe have 5 guys you want starting. And yet you expect wins and 300 yard passing games.

Justin Fields the only quarterback to throw multiple touchdown passes with zero interceptions against the eagles this year BTW.

Impressive, and he did that with being the only qb under 135 yards passing.
Is he sidearming more passes to the flat since he got injured playing football ?
Still hiding behind innuendo and practicing the art of omission.

Hilarious. The coaches know he sucks throwing the ball. That is why they won't let him throw the ball, even those slants, etc. you can't figure out why they won't let the guy who the majority of fans and analysts believe is a blossoming NFL Superstar throw.

So the onside kick at the game was just for show. The Bear coached really were not trying to win. Got it.

Among those traded, who was actually playing well at the time?

This should have been in response to the "By design" post.

Which goes to Custard's point that there are plenty of shitty teams.

It is not as if the Bear have had 4th quarter leads that they have blown.

This team COULD have enough wins that they would be in playoff consideration.

Just presenting “facts.” You claim to like those.
