With this, and hearing they plan on playing Eloy in RF I am done. Not subjecting myself to this anymore. I started out a Cubs fan when I was a kid, switched to the Sox in ‘81. I’ve had enough of this bungling franchise. I’m out.

Did I say I was going to the Cubs? TBH it’s hard for me to give two shits about baseball anymore. Tired of watching the White Sox put band-aids on a cancer patient.

Leave it to the Sox to take what was an incredibly fun, young team and turn it into a totally unwatchable product in one season. With a couple brief exceptions, I haven’t emotionally invested in baseball since the 90s.

I’ll concede that bad luck (mostly in the form of injuries have hurt them), but a lot of this was preventable, or at the very least somewhat fixable. They’ve done nothing but put band-aids on the cancer patient for two years.

If healthy and producing to their full capacity, it was a good team. What we realized after a few injuries was that it was a tragically flawed team. And ceased to even be fun. Thanks, Tony.
