Maybe seeing Texas on the jersey will get the Baylor transfer Mayer jump-started.
The roster says they ain't long tall Texans, but apparently they play defense.

Yeah I’ll be at an awards banquet/dinner starting at 6:30 and won’t be able to watch either. Thinking about just not checking anything and watching like live when I get home.

I remember back in the day when WCIA still did the broadcasts, and Illinois would frequently play at Purdue in a 6 p.m. start. Sadly there was a year when Illinois lost something like 86-43 to Purdue, but that might have been in Champaign.

My bad. Illinois WON 86-43 in Champaign in March 1985. But in January of that year, they lost 54-34 at Purdue.

In the 86-43 win, Purdue's best player fouled out with more than 17 minutes to go. How does that happen?

Texas should have no problem covering in this one.  Feel like the freshman are going to struggle mightly against this backcourt.  Hope im wrong.
