More or less. But I am not against boycotts. Your boogeymen are not necessarily my boogeymen. Sure, one can make a case to boycott either. I don’t eat Chick fil A, but I’m sure they’re doing fine without my money.
I’m pretty confident The Score is not a major reason Donald Trump is in office (and Ricketts will still be a billionaire without my 2-4 hours a week of listening). And the Twotter, despite all its flaws, is still the most expansive site (by far) for journalism and diverse commentary; and it’s still the best place to mock fascists. BlueSkye I’m sure is a safe space, but I’m not looking for an echo chamber experience. My boycotting either of the above would change nothing. Doesn’t mean I’m anti-boycott. Boycott what makes you feel good, not because you think you’re going to take down a billionaire by not participating.
