That’s just quoting the WaPo article.

I think it’s likely he worked here illegally for a short time. I don’t think it’s comparable to millions of randoms pouring across the southern border on an annual basis.

I think there’s this whole thing that Trump and Musk and the rest hate immigrants. It’s patently false. They’re against what was essentially an open border for most of Biden’s administration. Enough people agreed that it helped them win an election, despite Murph saying it’s the price of eggs.

I don't agree with zero tolerance. There should be exceptions for people in Musk's situation. Or fathers who violated some minor rule that hasn't been enforced for 50 years. And for those who cross the border to work. Also for those who were brought here as children and were raised here and are cultural Americans.

It isn't helpful to claim there have been open borders when Biden deported or denied entry to 4 times as many as Trump. Or talk about zero tolerance when the President's family members and close advisor got exceptions.

How is Musk not comparable to any single immigrant coming across the border? You are making a strawman argument.
Either it's illegal, or it's not. He snuck in and worked illegally. Either that's problematic to do so, or not. Well, unless your custard in which case you can sneak in from Apartheid South Africa but not from Mexico.
