Each thing that has happened over the last 36 hours seem to have been a total surprise, even to her closest aides and advisors; as the Detroit News is apparently now reporting, all or most of her senior House staff resigned this morning. Staff was literally waiting for her at this morning’s Clyburn unity event thinking she was about to arrive.

Now I know she was not satisfied with how The DSA Hamas Supporter was distancing himself from some local ad....but she was telling everyone, reportedly, she was still voting for him last night and her staff thought she was still going to show today after she was disinvited yesterday.

I don't believe anything the DSA Hamas supporting NYT reports.  Other media organizations are reporting that Debbie Dingell asked Stevens not to attend the unity event.

This back and forth melodrama over the last two days shows that Michigan Democrats dodged a bullet in their primary.  Stevens is clearly full of sour grapes. 

Stevens could have just withdrawn her earlier support, announced she wasn't voting for AES and moved on.  But, she chose to endorse MAGA stooge Mike Rogers two days before the election. 

Stevens is craving support and attention at this point.
