Mostly agree with what Bernsie is sharing here except that if the corporations own and control America, aren’t they at least partly responsible for the stability and fiscal policy of America?
I will say Jon Stewart has been one of the actual reasonable voices on the left that understands the critical failures that have led to where we are today, whilst people like Murph prefer to keep their heads firmly buried in the sand and blame the dumb voters. Good to hear AOC say too that the Democrat party is no longer the party of the working class. The first step in solving a problem is recognizing it exists, even if it’s way too late.
Even though I’m basically the definition of a centrist, I get labeled as right wing here because a handful of you are so far left you walk in circles. I fully recognize that two strong motivated parties that want what’s best for America is better than whatever the hell has happened to the Democrats the past decade. It seems like whatever actual fight the party had for the middle class died with the failed promises of the Obama era and Bernie getting openly hosed.
