I went and bought a new hand gun (S&W Bodyguard 2.0) and a bunch of ammo today, in a constitutional carry state with no waiting period. I have had a FOID card most of my adult life in Illinois and have a perfectly clean record. I had to fill out an application and the background check took 30 minutes before they approved the purchase and let me leave with the firearm and ammo. But democrats would have you believe anyone can walk up and buy whatever they want and walk right out with it.
