Can't the homeless just go shoplift less than $950 of fresh food from the local grocery store ?
Why mess with trash cans ?
The narrative is amusing juxtaposed to my experience - I am in Missouri right now. Sprinted from the plane to the rental car company and zipped to the lake house to hunker down.
The first human I saw after leaving the rental car place was a homeless guy sleeping in the shade of a dumpster behind a McDonalds, where I stopped to take a leak. This in Kingdom City, Mo.
Kingdom City has a population of 128 - even if this is the only homeless guy in Kingdom City, they have a 3/4 percent homeless population, within the noise of the percentage of homeless in San Francisco.
