I will agree with PMan on that though. I was on here bitching as well that the cheapest tickets were $75 and they were gouging the shit out of them.

That said, the last two weeks promotions based on their rankings has been genius and made a big difference. I think they learned from that Iowa disaster of trying to fuck over people.

 I remember being very confused when I went to my first game at UIUC in 1986 (a shellacking by Nebraska).
Colorado had always had beer sales, and it was 3.2 beer which was legal for 18 year olds, so as a high school student I was buying beer at CU football games in late November.

In the 90's I was living in Boulder and a fraternity brother from UIUC who grew up in Madison came out to Boulder with his buddies who played at Wisconsin (huge dudes). Right before we left for the game they started slamming beers to get a buzz to last the game, I was happy to inform them they could get a beer inside.
